How strange!

Curly hair is pretty rare here. Some people take the time to curl their hair and some people have a little natural wave to it. But, my brand of curly is pretty much not seen here. As a result, it is just one more thing to make me stand out in a crowd. Oddly, since it is so rare, people think it is ok to touch it! At random times, I feel people come up behind me and play with my curls. Like today...the girl behind me in the check-out line at the grocery store. Or the lady who was sitting behind me at church. Or the little girl who boldly walked up to me in the cyber cafe. Strange!
